« EXHIBITION TRIBUTE TO THE ENLIGHTMENT CENTURY.
INDIFFERENCE EFFECT»

This exhibition is dedicated to the disappearance of the Weastern culture, as a consequence of an indifference general effect.

« Living of today ! What could we feel by looking at the cultural symbols map ? Agressiveness of an everlasting city, the shapes of which are out of date, but still undying and out of time ; some uncaptive citadels of culture ; some bastions of supreme skill ; all the superhuman mind efforts which have all been elusive to us.

Knowledge can not be handed down.
Effort can not be handed down.
Skill can not be handed down.

According to me, the non-implication is similar to the tragical inaccessibility in Racine’s writing style. All become myth in the same way that gods life for the antique Greeks.

Why did I draw the lost universe of the Enlightment Century ? An exhibition, this is always the result of sucesses and losts. I stroved in the same manner that the young musician who takes his strenghs from the classical music and tries to play in the right way and with dignity.

Here are shown some pictures-stenogramms : pieces of cities, of walls, of posters, the Louvre Museum, some Names, etc. »
